I’m starting with $100 and nothing else in the challenge account. The goal is simple: use my CNC to turn that $100 into enough money to eventually pay for the machine itself.

• Start with $100. All materials and supplies purchased specifically for the challenge come out of that money.

• Use the tools I already own. The CNC, bits, shop tools, and other equipment I already have don’t count against the $100 starting budget.

• Sell locally. Challenge products will be listed primarily on Facebook Marketplace, keeping shipping and selling fees out of the equation.

• Reinvest everything. Money earned from challenge products goes back into the challenge. No additional money gets added from outside.

• Track the real numbers. I’ll keep track of material costs, sales, labor hours, and CNC machine time—not just revenue.

• Show the failures too. Products that don’t sell, wasted material, bad ideas, and mistakes still count. I’m not resetting the numbers when something goes wrong.

• No imaginary profit. A product isn’t a success because I could sell it for a certain price. It counts when somebody actually buys it.

The finish line: turn that original $100 into enough profit to pay for the CNC.
